- Scott Eckersall is a software developer and trainer specializing in GIS and other spatially-enabling technology running on the web, desktop and PDA platforms. He has 17 years of experience in various capacities and holds a BS degree in Civil Engineering from Cal State L.A.
- When serving as Product Manager and lead software developer for Digital Map Products, Scott designed and built CityGIS.com, a suite of GIS productivity tools for a mass-deployed user base.
- Previously at Psomas, he developed a variety of GIS applications including an ArcView-based Automated Pollutant Loading Model for Los Angeles County Public Works (DPW).
- Scott has also worked for Los Angeles County DPW in the IT and Design Divisions, having built solutions for street lighting management, catch basin inventories, emergency management, road maintenance, and more.
- Operating as an independant GIS software developer, consultant, and trainer since 2002, Scott founded Eckersall, LLC in 2006.
- Eckersall, LLC is now a growing company with a staff of four and a combined 26 years experience in software development, GIS consulting and training.
